Now that we’ve all had a one-month break from despair, thanks to Forlorn Fridays, it’s time to get back to work. You all know what to do.
As usual, new 5 a.m. Stories will continue to appear on Sundays, and gently used older stories will show up on Throwback Thursdays for those who missed them the first time around.
Or, you know, for folks who just want to read them again, out of boredom or confusion.
Today’s Throwback Thursday, Heading Home, is a sentimental favorite of mine, about the Basler Family’s puzzling reintroduction to their native land after eight years of living halfway around the world.
I hope you got to read Teach your Children Well, my new story that dropped last Sunday. I thought it was special, and I posted it without a pay wall. Readers seemed to agree, and it set personal records for page views, likes and reader comments.
Please consider getting a subscription to 5 a.m. Stories. It’s only $5 a month, and you would just squander that money on beef jerky and Crème de menthe, anyway!
