Why is it that the great flops from the past always make the current celebration so wonderful?

Great stories, Bob. Thanks.

So this one was revelatory, and actually brought tears to my eyes. Only now is the full story of your and most importantly Barbara's pandemic survival sinking in to my brain. Certainly a story that teaches us all to be thankful for whoever is around our table this year, no matter what we're serving. Thanks, Bob.

Very nice, but what happened to Barbara's side of the 1971 picture? Is that what you thought of her cooking?

No, it's probably what she thought of her part of the photo....

Wow, Bob, you've done it again. You've told a story that seemed like it would bring us to our knees in laughter, only to pull our heartstrings like a master harpist with an illustration of why every day matters, and being thankful for the ones we love and the dishes they bring to the table is the true meaning of Thanksgiving. Thank you for this one, very, very much, and Happy Thanksgiving.

Having had the privilege of one of your Thanksgiving feasts (I still dream about Barbara's cheese grits), I can truly say you've come a long way, baby.

It's almost Thanksgiving. What are the ingredients for Barbara's famous stuffing, for goodness sake? And make it quick!

And I just downloaded Don McLean’s greatest hits and enjoyed singing along to the full version of American Pie. Good choice to represent the US of A in Hong Kong.

Didn’t know about Barbara’s Covid ordeal. Glad there was a happy ending! Are you going to circulate the sweet potato recipe? Now that our mouths are watering…. Happy thanksgiving Hoosiers!
