I am currently owned by one of your former fosters. When you had him he was Tucker. He is currently called Mr. PurrBody, the awesomest cat ever. Or, Your Majesty. Which ever you prefer, he's not picky.
We are cat lovers and even carry cat treats with us when we travel. But our two cats at home would be mighty angry if we brought home fosters. Thanks for this sweet story!
thank you Bob for sharing you foster stories, many of which you and I have talked about over the years. And thank you for introducing me to the world of fostering. One of my very favorite interactions with you while we both served on the board of the SF Animal Shelter was to follow the emails that posted the foster kittens and race to be the first to the shelter to claim our new batch. I miss you Bob Basler. I'm off this morning to gather two two-week old kittens from the shelter to be my first bottle feeders.
So nice to read, Mary. And you didn't even mention our yoga with kittens, one of my most enduring memories. I'm going to need photos of the bottle babies....

Lovely piece. And nice snap of the missus…
And here's Joni Mitchell. Thank you Bob for bringing this wild kitten into our home.

Wonderful. Love the tie-in to Mental Health Month. You really have gotten away with murder though.
Gosh, four lousy people, Susie. Hardly worth mentioning...

So sweet. Are you sure this is you?
of course it's not me, Janie...
Delightful, and powerful ending. Never imagined you fostered 150 kittens!
You did a great service for all cat-kind. And, you lived write about it. Thanks for sharing this awesome story.
