Throwback Thursday!

The truth, the whole truth...

Today’s Throwback Thursday rerun is kind of a confession, an admission that I lied on a lot of official forms when I was working in Asia, and then unfortunately continued the habit when I got back to my home continent.

My eventual undoing came in a working trip to our 51st state, whose flag is shown above.

Whew, it felt good to get off my chest.

I’m not talking about enormous lies - I wouldn’t qualify for a job in the Trump Cabinet or anything like that. It was more like I only told people what they needed to know, and as it happened, I decided they didn’t need to know very much.
