On past Thursdays I’ve been posting stories that were very popular the first time around. Today, however, I’m going with a personal favorite that didn’t seem to find the right audience a year ago.
Writers and Their Dogs is a sweet and wistful story about pets, major change, parenting and a young boy learning it’s okay to dream big.

Apart from the main thrust of the story, your evocation of Christopher adjusting to school back in the USA hit home for me. Four kids and so many moves across the world. Yes, it was all brilliantly character-building but so much heartache along the way.
